Eighteen teams will compete for the historic trophy,
previously awarded at the World Championships, as well as GSCT points.
The teams play in three groups, with the first games getting underway at 8.30am on Friday.
A number of teams will be looking to put in a good
performance ahead of the European Championships later this month. Kauste
(Finland), Baumann (Germany), GrΓΈnbech
(Denmark), Miekle (Wales), Sik (Czech Republic), and MacDougall (England) will
all be representing their nations at Braehead.
Current GSCT leaders Team Hardie will be looking to continue their event winning streak, while fellow Scots Macdonald, Fraser, Bryce and Mouat also feature in the draw. 2015 champions Team Smith will not be in attendance to retain their title.
Draw, team
lists and live line scores can be found on the event’s website, here: http://murrayfieldinternational.com/
Spectators are
