In a repeat of the Lockerbie final Team Edwards gained revenge over Team Hardie at the Kinross Open by winning the final 6-1.
They had defeated Ewan MacDonald in the semi final 7-4 and Michael Opel in the quarters 7-1.
Grant Hardie beat David Laird 7-6 in the quarters and Ross McCleary 9-3 in the semis.
David Edwards and his team now head to the final event at Aberdeen at the end of January with a solitary point lead over Ross McCleary in the tour standings.
For the third year in a row the Petrofac Aberdeen Open will decide the winner of the Goldline Scottish Curling Tour and will undoubtedly have twist and turns before we can crown this seasons winner.
Will David Edwards and his team secure back to back titles or will we have a new name on the trophy in Ross McCleary. There are also teams fighting out for the third spot in a closely packed leaderboard.
