The second event of the Goldline Scottish Curling Tour took place this weekend at Braehead and produced the same final as last week with Martin Lill defeating Kyle Smith 7-5 in the final. A score of 4 in the third end proving decisive.
The quarter finals saw Martin Lill defeat Van Dorp 5-2, Alan Hannah 8-2 winners against Team NYP, Kyle Smith edging Blair Fraser 6-5 and Lorna Vevers producing the same 6-5 score line against David Jones.

A great two weeks in Scotland for the Estonians and they are off to a flier in the Tour.
Will we see them back for more to try to win the overall prize?

Forfar Open
The Forfar Open is still looking for some entries for their event to be held Friday 11th October - Sunday 13th October.
There is also a ladies event incorporated in the draw with a prize for the top ladies team which Kerry Barr is back to defend.
This is sure to be a great event with hospitality provided by Mike Ferguson who is sure to have some off ice activities if previous years are anything to go by.
A mini bus service also runs between Brechin and the Ice Rink so the social side can be enjoyed to the full.
The entry form can be found on their website at the below link
